Sole Pastor – Pastor Alan Thoe
Pastor Thoe was born in a small town in central Wisconsin in 1966. He worked as a heavy-duty mechanic after High School until he and family moved to TN in 1997 when he started a career in residential construction. He became a Deacon at Grace in the fall of 2008 and went on to be ordained on June 2nd, 2013, in the SMP program through Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne IN. He received an Alternate Route (AR) certificate in May of 2017 also through the seminary at Fort Wayne. Pastor Thoe was installed as the Sole Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in May of 2022 after serving as Assistant Pastor for many years. He and his wife, Amy, were married in 1987 and have 4 natural children and 2 “adopted” children and a total of 15 grandchildren. He enjoys watching British mysteries and shooting sports in his spare time.
